3 themes to help you build for the future
I was thrilled to be invited as a keynote speaker at the Google.org Generative AI Accelerator kick-off where I was asked to give a talk on Applying AI Boldly.
After spending time thinking about how I would distill this talk into a 30 minute keynote, I started by stressing just how fast this industry is moving and the breakthroughs that have happened in the last 1-2 years. I then emphasized my key point, “build for where the technology is going, not just where it’s at.”
Of course, this is easy advice to give but hard to act on if you don’t know where to begin thinking about what the future has in store. So, I focused on three emerging trends that I feel are ripe for advancement this year:

Agents
AI first UX

My hope is that all the teams and companies present yesterday left with the feeling that there’s a lot more to build in the world… and that when it comes to what’s possible with Generative AI, we’re just getting started.
