For the last few months, I've been baffled as to why everyone is obsessing over the least challenging component of the product development cycle a.k.a the coding/build cycle. For a PM working on a new product, the toughest parts have almost always been the pre-build and the post-build PMF phases. The biggest impact of AI on the PM landscape will be a brutal emphasis on sharp human thinking and PMs that prized themselves on execution will need a rethink.
